First Trimester Pregnancy Must-Haves

October 22, 2017

When I think of the first trimester of this pregnancy, I think of sickness, bed, and being very unproductive. I was one of those pregnant women who got hit with “all-day sickness” pretty bad and it lasted from week 6 up until around week 12. From there, it was on and off and certainly not as bad.

I have no idea who decided to call it morning sickness, because that thing lasted ALL day for me. On the really bad days, I did not leave the bed all day unless I was going to the bathroom, getting crackers, or water. Some days were great, though! But mostly.. bad. It was all worth it though, I’ll tell ya that!

If you’re already pregnant and reading this, congrats!!! I hope my sickness rant doesn’t scare you. Some women get zero morning sickness and everyone is completely different – no two pregnancies are the same. If you’re trying to conceive, be patient, your time will come I promise.

There are some products and things that I think everyone should have for their first trimester, so that’s what I’m here to show you today.

  • What to Expect When You’re Expecting
     – I’m sure EVERYONE knows of this book, but it’s for good reason. It takes you through month-by-month so you know what to expect. It also answers a TON of questions you may have about sex, medications, and so much more. I’ve been reading along with it every time I reach a new month in my pregnancy! My boyfriend also has the The Expectant Father: The Ultimate Guide for Dads-to-Be
, which has been wonderful for him to read along the way with me.
