Can you BELIEVE it is almost 2015? Like seriously, think about it. I remember December 31st of last year like it was yesterday. CRAZY TALK.
Anyway, if you are a huge procrastinator like me, you haven’t figured out what you are wearing for New Years Eve. Yup, no freaking clue. BUT, pinterest to the rescue!
I always go one of two ways on New Years – wear something super sparkly to stand out, or wear something black and then have certain accessories/makeup pop. I’ve round up my favorite looks for NYE in case you need some ideas!
First up, SPARKLES.
I’m a huge fan of cute skirts. They are comfortable and fashionable, best of both worlds. Pair this with some black pumps!
Love the nail polish idea as well. Basically, if you are wearing something super sparkly, you need to keep the rest of the look pretty simple or it will be too much.
I love that this stuck to one color – all nude. It makes it classy and elegant, but still fun and “look at me” for new year’s.
I think black and gold is a trend this year. Not complaining though, they complement each other perfectly. The belt really makes the outfit!
I love how this isn’t all just plain sequins or sparkles. The pattern really makes you stand out and makes a statement.
Now for the BLACK looks!
This one is great because it’s something you can just put together with things you already have in your closet. The simplicity of it is awesome, but it also looks perfect for a party. Personally, I’d pair it with statement heels and a matching bold lip.
This is another one if you’re looking for an outfit with pants instead of a dress or skirt. It’s simple but still sexy! Love the bold red lip as well, and I’m sure she has red pumps on.
Some more simple black dress looks. They paired it with gold, but again, you can pair it with any color you’d like.
I love everything about this outfit, and wouldn’t change a thing. THOSE SHOES are to die for.
I am such a sucker for lace and open back dresses! This is probably my favorite, and of course pairing it with a stand-out heel would be gorgeous. Or staying with the all-black theme is a great idea as well to keep it simple but elegant.
What are you NYE plans?
