WIAW – 1

Well, well, well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve done a what I ate Wednesday post! Isn’t it weird how intriguing it is to look at what other people eat? I mean, maybe I’m just a weirdo stalker, but  I dig it. Or maybe I’m just a foodie. Yeah, lets go with the second one. Of course, link up with Jen to join in on the partayyyy.

These are some meals I’ve actually felt like photographing and don’t look like a big pile of crap (like most do).

Breakfast one morning was rice with sautéed zucchini, red bell peppers, and mushrooms. Topped with two runny eggs and 1/2 a grapefruit.

Meet my new husband – salmon. I could marry it. Plus asparagus, rice & beans, olé!

Roasted brussel sprouts FTW. So good. Olive oil, salt, and pepper. That easy.

Everything but my left arm salad. That’s the only way to make em people. Throw a bunch of stuff in there and mix, mix, mix it up.

I didn’t eat tea… but I figured I’d throw this in. I seriously am obsessed with tea lately.

Eggs with a ton of veggies, avocado on gluten-free toast, and grapefruit.

One of the best green smoothies I’ve ever made! I posted the recipe on my instagram a little while back.

  • 3/4 C. Chocolate Caramel Muscle Egg (can use protein powder instead)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 C. frozen peaches
  • 30 g. baked sweet potato (about 1/3)
  • 2 Tbs. Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tbs. Pb2 or peanut flour
  • Stevia & Cinnamon
  • Two huge stalks of Kale (or spinach)
  • Topped with chia seeds!

More salads with a bunch of stuff thrown in. This time kale, too.

Another dinner.

Whole foods, whole paycheck.

I loveeeeee salaaadddddd. I’m weird.

BEST FOR LAST. Oats. Naner. Peanut butter/Sunflower seed butter.

    1. I’m the same exact way when it comes to being nosy about what it is that other people are eating… I like to think of it as a source of inspiration for my own meal ideas 😉 And right now you’ve got me craving some avocado toast. Yum.

    1. All the eats look so good! How do you manage to make the perfect heart in your green smooth?

      1. Magic 😉 hahaha actually it was just a blob and I made it into a heart!

    1. Your meals have made me soooooooooo hungry! Yum yum yum! I just made my meal plan for next week last night and salmon + asparagus are on it. We love that combination, even my toddler gobbles both up happily 🙂 I also love the heart on your smoothie – very cute.

    1. Your salads look just like mine. I actually crave one at lunchtime (and sometimes dinner too) every day. I always tell people that if they don’t like salad, they’re making it wrong and not adding enough healthy goodies into it. Glad to know I’m not the only one who eats theirs out of a mixing bowl.
