Looking Forward To Fall

Florida means we don’t really get a “fall”, but I can pretend by praying for cooler weather drinking and eating all things pumpkin. #whitegirlproblems

But I won’t wear uggs on the beach when it’s 75 degrees. Promise.

1. Well this one is pretty obvious, but cooler weather!

I want to be able to light some candles, drink hot coffee, and wear scarves without dripping sweat. This 90+ degree weather has got to go!

2. Holiday festivities! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, all of it. My favorite time of the year, and the best time to spend with friends and family.

3. FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!! Gators gators gators!

4. Fall flavors forย food and drinks. Duh.

I still need to find these.

5. Fall fashion! I’m not a fashionista by any means, but I loooove the look of fall fashion – scarves, boots, good hair days, etc.

6. Last but not least, visiting CHICAGO for my competition! I cannot wait. Seeing my best friend, competing, and exploring the city!

What are you looking forward to this fall?

  1. i don’t want summer to end!!!

  2. I’m seriously so, so, SO excited that it’s finally getting close to fall! Give me ALL the sweaters, boots, scarves, gorgeous leaves, and fall flavours ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. You had me at pumpkin spice candles… I LOVE burning (and smelling) candles when the temperature cools. For some reason I don’t burn candles during the spring/summer. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Fall DEFINITELY means better hair days. Holla for less humidity. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. As much as I love my days at the pool in the summer, fall is my favorite season. I can’t wait for bonfires, hayrides and pumpkin picking at my family’s farm, and all the beautiful fall leaves. Of course, pumpkin-flavored-everything is pretty awesome too. #basicwhitegirl here. Hahah.

  6. You can have the ‘Fall’ we have here. Crazy.

  7. I’m looking forward to my holiday in October ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m spending 3 whole weeks in LA!! So no fall for me either ๐Ÿ˜‰ I don’t like scarfs very much because they make my hair look so fuzzy and crazy. They keep me warm and comfy though so I will wear them when it gets colder anyway!

  8. “Florida means we donโ€™t really get a โ€œfallโ€” <- This. Let's change countries and you'll understand why I'd rather have summer stick around. Sure, I'll take fall fashion – the outfit you posted is totally adorable -, scented candles and walks on pathes covered in colourful leaves. But the dreary weather? Shorter evenings and early dark? I could do without that very well. Consoling myself by eating ALL the pumpkin and keeping the 'glow' even with less sunshine that way.
