I think you all know my obsession with workout attire. I’m such a sucker for cute & comfy workout clothes, especially since I work from home that is basically all I wear. I’m either dressed like I’m going to the gym, or I’m going to the gym. 😉
Not only that, but when look cute in the gym, I perform better. Call me crazy, but it’s true! If I feel uncomfortable or don’t like what I’m wearing, then that’s what I focus on instead of my actual workout. Look good, feel good, perform good!
I was lucky enough to be chosen to work with Puma for their forever faster campaign, where they focus on constantly innovating to produce new standards for fitness and fashion. Puma kindly sent me a pair of leggings, a sports bra, t-shirt, and most importantly, their training shoes from their women’s ignite xt line!
The leggings were my favorite of course and are made with stretch compression which is a great balance of support and comfort.
The shirt was lightweight and flowy, which made it less hot during the workout and allowed for a full-range of motion.
The sports bra fit just right which gave a good amount of support.
Last but not least, the shoes! These are not a pure running shoe and are meant mostly for training which was perfect for me. The shoes are super comfortable, and I was able to lift and do cardio in – a win win.
Key features of the shoes:
- Enhanced traction – solid rubber outsole, pods provide full ground contact and traction without weighing you down
- Support – additional heel thickness on medial and lateral sides & supports side to side movement
- Agility – full length flex groove enables fast and dynamic multi-directional movement
- Energy return (via IGNITE foam) – full length ignite foam, midsoles pu blend offers high rebound cushioning
Puma also has a new hashtag, #nomatterwhat, which encourages people to make and adhere to a contract that they make with themselves. A great challenge to remember to stay on track and improve your performance. I’m in, who’s with me?
Would you rather buy new shoes or leggings?
Do you perform better with cute work
