Clothing Haul on a Budget

June 29, 2015

Want to know a secret? I secretly HATE shopping. Actually, it’s not a secret, but it is true. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting new things but the actual act of trying on a bunch of clothes and then spending money.. bleh.

Not only that, but I usually end up buying only workout clothes. Then I complain that I have no real life clothes 😉 However, I recently went shopping and was super happy that I ended up with only ONE pair of workout pants, and actually got cute clothes on the cheaper side! I am such a budget shopper when it comes to clothes, and Kohl’s is like my favorite store. You can usually get cute stuff for less money than you would normally spend. And no, this isn’t a sponsored post hah.

Since it’s summer out, the thought of pants or jeans makes me die a little inside, so I’m all about the skirts and dresses lately. Team no pants, who’s with me?

High waisted great skirt (super comfy).

I’m also obsessed with crop tops, since you can usually mix and match them with various different bottoms.

High waisted flowy skirt.

Plain summer dress that you can either wear casually or dress up with some wedges and cute jewelry.

And of course I had to get at least one piece of workout wear!

All of this cost me only about $50 I believe, which is definitely a win in my eyes.

I decided to put these two pieces together to make it look like a cute dress and threw on nice jewelry and wedges to dress it up!

Finished off the summer look with a french gel manicure and white toes.

What do you love to wear in the summer?

Favorite nail color?

    1. I just came across your blog and I love it! As a new blogger, I love seeing how others approach their health/fitness posts and I love your authenticity! Keep it up 🙂

    1. Agreed! New clothes = fun. Spending money = not so much. You look incredible in that crop top and skirt… I wish was brave enough to wear outfits like that. I never wear crop tops or skirts 😛 and usually stick to comfortable leggings and flowy shirts!
