Hi loves! Since I'm trying to get back to blogging regularly after a long hiatus, I thought it would be fun to dive a little more into who I am as a person. Especially since times have changed a LOT since I was blogging regularly - I have grown and evolved as a person, and life has changed drastically. Body Image Struggles During Pregnancy

Yesterday, I realized I was 16 weeks pregnant. Yesterday marked the beginning of month five of this pregnancy, which is just C R A Z Y to me. I can still feel the tightness in my chest, the dizziness, the nervousness, the pressure in my cheeks because they hurt from smiling so hard, and the extreme excitement/hyperventilation when I saw those positive pregnancy tests on June 24, 2017. If you've followed me for a long time, you know how badly I've always wanted to be a mom. As an extremely indecisive person, being a mom has been the only thing that I have always been 100% sure of. Body Image Talk – How to Stay Positive

Lets talk body image. I really try to be as transparent and honest as I possibly can with you all. Social media has the tendency to make it seem like everyone's life is all sunshine and butterflies, but in reality, EVERYONE has problems. Everyone struggles, and no one is perfect. I'm constantly preaching to love your body at every stage but honestly, I struggle with doing so. Last week I literally just started crying. I'm not as lean as I was, I don't have abs, I have more cellulite than before, a lot of my clothes do not fit me, and mix that with some PMS/hormones and the outcome is a nice, big cry.  I did this for a couple days, and I was just wallowing in my own sorrow. Clothing Haul on a Budget

Want to know a secret? I secretly HATE shopping. Actually, it's not a secret, but it is true. Don't get me wrong, I love getting new things but the actual act of trying on a bunch of clothes and then spending money.. bleh. Not only that, but I usually end up buying only workout clothes. Then I complain that I have no real life clothes ;) However, I recently went shopping and was super happy that I ended up with only ONE pair of workout pants, and actually got cute clothes on the cheaper side! I am such a budget shopper when it comes to clothes, and Kohl's is like my favorite store. Perfect Sweet Potato Fries

I am nowhere near a food blogger. Or a chef. Or even a girl who really know's how to cook. I just make stuff up and hope I don't burn the house down and the food comes out edible. I like simplicity, because really, food is food and I'll eat it all. I don't discriminate! To be honest, I really love the taste of simple food anyway, so that's what I end up making!
