Abs and cardio.. you either love them, or you hate them.
Not going to lie, I go through phases. Right now I’m in the LOVE phase – I love doing abs, especially since mine have gotten stronger, and I actually enjoy doing cardio, all forms of it!
The key for me, and I’m sure for most people, is to make it less boring. The idea of doing 100 crunches or doing 30 minutes of running on a treadmill scares people away. It would scare me away, too. So, I usually do my abs in circuits and try to make my lifting sessions intense enough that it serves as most of my cardio.
This is an ab and cardio circuit I performed the other day after my shoulder session! Perfect little circuit to top off the workout. I put 6 rounds, but you can really do as many as you’d like.. 3 rounds, 6 round, 10 rounds if you want to get really crazy 😉
