7 Month Pregnancy Update | Weeks 29-32

January 25, 2018

I’m a little late writing this post, as I’m currently almost 36 weeks pregnant, BUT I still wanted to update the blog so I have hit for future reference, too 🙂

If you haven’t seen my youtube video, watch that as I discuss each week in more detail!

If you’d rather read, read on.

Week 29:

Size: Pineapple!

Symptoms: tired AF, headaches, peeing 24/7 (literally on another level)

Foods I’m loving: I’m back to having times where my normal food doesn’t sound good. This week my favorite things were foods like my protein banana bread, yogurt, white cheddar popcorn, chocolate. Not too many veggies.

Week 30:

Size: Cantaloupe!

Symptoms: First dreams about my actual baby. Some were scary, some were normal. He had blonde hair and brown eyes in my dreams. Also having many dreams about labor and labor being extremely easy… lets hope 😉 SO tired still. Tons of heartburn this week for some reason. Nausea back a bit. I get full a lot faster.

Other: We had another ultrasound scheduled to check the length of his femurs. Back at my 20 week anatomy scan, we were told his femurs were on the shorter side than what they should have been at that point in pregnancy. They weren’t worried, they figured he was just taking after parental stature (which would be daddy’s legs and NOT mine because I have long ass legs and Matthew’s are shorter). We found out he was already head down, woohoo!!! He also has a very large head… RIP vagina. It was measuring over a week ahead. Doc said his femurs were perfect though and everything looks PERFECT! So happy. He was also 3 lbs 7 oz at this time, right on track. We also saw him YAWN in the ultrasound, it was soooo freaking cool.

Week 31:

Size: Head of lettuce.

Symptoms: Feeling larger and more uncomfortable, nausea, car sickness, feeling full and achey, Braxton Hicks, uncomfortable to sleep.

Other: This was Christmas week and my mom was in town to visit. Everything was fine until the night before Christmas Eve Matthew woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea and vomiting. He was sick all day Christmas Eve – at first we thought it was food poisoning, but we all ate the same thing the night before and my mom and I were fine. I did feel kind of run down and weak though. The next day, Christmas Day, I felt fine in the morning and then 3pm it hit me. I got the stomach bug that Matthew got and I was vomiting and had diarrhea until like 5am the next day. It was AWFUL, especially when being pregnant. I couldn’t eat anything and was just able to drink water and gatorade. I felt so bad for baby, but he was still very active. I haven’t thrown up that much in so long, and I never want to experience that again. I hated it lol. I lost like 5 pounds from being sick and I felt pretty sick for like 5 days after that. My poor mom came to visit and was stuck taking care of her sick daughter.

Week 32:

Size: Pomelo or Jicama.

Symptoms: abnormally high heart rate, about 100 when just sitting or laying down. Peeing legit every 30 minutes. Very low motivation for anything.
