23 Things I’ve Learned in Life

August 12, 2015

It’s my birthday!! I turn the ripe old age of 23 today 😉 I love sharing some wisdom/things I’ve learned in my short life, so that’s exactly what I did. If I can help anyone, it’s always worth it to share some awesome things to remember. Time seriously does fly, and you don’t even realize all that you can go through within a short amount of time. Craaaaazy.

23 things I’ve learned in life:

  1. Step outside your comfort zone
  2. Say yes to more things
  3. But it’s also ok to say no
  4. Be a nice human
  5. Always look on the positive side of things
  6. Find your passion and pursue it
  7. It’s ok to cut negative people out of your life to live a more positive one
  8. Sometimes people you have never met (or have just met) can be become some of your best friends
  9. Meeting people online is the shit
  10. Change is good
  11. Traveling is one of the best things to spend your money on
  12. Do not take out credit cards you don’t need
  13. No one gives a shit about how much you weigh, so stop worrying about it
  14. Love yourself.
  15. Being happy with your life is the most important thing
  16. If you don’t like something, change it
  17. Our lives are shaped by our decisions
  18. But I do believe things happen for a reason
  19. Always trust your gut instinct
  20. Sometimes you waste a lot of time worrying about silly things that don’t matter.. don’t do it
  21. Shit happens in life, but it’s important to learn from that instead of dwelling on it
  22. You CAN do anything you want to do.
  23. Life is short, and a lot can happen in a short amount of time.

What is something important you have learned?

    1. Say yes but it’s okay to say no.

Honestly this is one of the best and healthiest lessons I learned for myself.

    1. Happy birthday! I just found you watched your video and it was a good reminder of things I always thought I learned but forget. So thank you! I read your profile and saw you talk about fashion and how you don’t need to spend a lot to look put together. Hopefully I’ll learn a thing or two from you.
